Winston S Father Jameis Waiting On Nfl Draft Decision

Winston’s father, Antonor Winston, said his son will share his decision sometime after the Jan. 12 Oregon-Ohio State showdown, ESPN reported Tuesday.

Yahoo! Sports, citing anonymous sources close to the quarterback, reported Tuesday evening that Winston is “seriously considering” a return to FSU.

Underclassmen have until Jan. 15 to declare for the draft.

Redshirted as a freshman, Winston has spent the past two seasons at the helm for Florida State, leading the Seminoles to a BCS national championship and winning the Heisman Trophy in 2013.

Despite controversy off the field, Winston is still considered a high draft pick.

Winston has also expressed his wish to continue his baseball career at Florida State. Going to the NFL would almost certainly mean his time as a baseball player would end.
